    KOKO trouble

I would be looking at a ground issue. if all the ECM grounds look good, you can try the body grounds. an easy check would be to use a set of jump cables both clamps on the ground of the battery and the other ends one to the frame/body and one on the block. don't crank just key on and see if...

    My Shop

Throwing enough flour would smother a fire but only long enough to get it under control to douse it with water. mainly because it's not "in the air" and a large lump going boosh on the flames all at once. if it goes into a cloud of flower dust... well that's another ball game LOL

    6.5L GMT400 parts 88 to 99 GM truck

not that I'm aware of. the second photo showing the elbows, the two closes to the hummer center are for the panel style filter, the other three are for the k47. if you have a complete k47, let me know what you want for the kit. also for an elbow too. the box I have is slightly deformed...

    one lifter making noise

the only difference in the 1404 and the 3226 is OE and professional your engine should use the "short" body injectors as for turbo applications. they do make a "long" body injector but that is for non-turbo applications, also your IP fuel lines will not fit on the long body ones iirc. All...

K3500 dualy parking drum brake fail

with a sloppy wheel bearing, that sounds like you might have experienced the so called "death wobble" a sloppy wheel bearing can cause this as well as something loose or sloppy in the steering linkage. be sure to examine all the steering components too!

what colors are the wires under the covering?

    dual fuel tank question

Now depending on the gauge and the setup. the gauge can possibly read up to only half for one tank. it all depends on how the gauge is setup, it will read off resistance where the sender and float sensors resistance changes according to the level. there is a max reading and a min reading...

    dual fuel tank question

a lot of big rigs were setup to have the tanks equal out acting as one tank. most had a valve on one or both tanks to isolate them so you could run off a single tank, only difference that I'm aware of was there would be two gauges in the dash one for each tank.

    4L80E Transmission Temp Sensor

Found some... Just some availability options if you need to replace the sensor. personally I would go for Summit or Jegs over amazon or RA. Ac Delco 12129691 https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-12129691-Equipment-Transmission-Temperature/dp/B0049Z0V5Q https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ado-12129691...

    6.5L HMMWV 6.5

if you go to a "specialty" hydraulic shop, they should be able to get one in steel for you. I have seen lots of these in various sizes at work, they are used mainly to setup temporary pressure gauges in line for setting and adjusting pump pressures when there are no test ports in the hydraulic...

    4L80E Transmission Temp Sensor

if you can find the hummer or GM part number for that sensor, that will possibly help locate a sensor. when did this issue start? since you have a new harness, that doesn't mean that during the install a wire got smashed or even faulty "new" parts. there are a lot of parts made in china...

    dual fuel tank question

Welcome to the forum @solo I would think so, if both tanks has a level sender in them, just running the sender from the primary tank direct you should get an accurate reading to the gauge. honestly if you still have both tanks, just not the equalizing hardware and plumbing, you could...

What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

if you need to drive while waiting on the new cooler, you can get you a union and join the two hoses but drive cautiously. good catch while it's in the slow leak stage and it didn't just burst on you. that could have been an "Oh-Shi#" moment !!

    4L80E Transmission Temp Sensor

before pulling the pan on the trans, probe it at the trans connector, both on the trans to check the ohms of the sensor, and on the truck side to make sure the harness isn't an issue.

    6.5L HMMWV 6.5

looking at the pics on FB, that engine looks to be newly built or at least a craigslist rebuild with a rattle can!

    My Shop

Those are interesting shop light fixtures! looks like old 4' florescent fixtures with the old school ceramic screw bulb fixtures in them! gives a nice rustic look too!

    KOKO trouble

Have you cracked any of the injector lines to see if there is fuel pumping? I can't remember, did you install a clear line on the IP return? if so is there any air in the line?

    Firewall insulation

I wonder how it helps with heat going into the cab. I know there is a compartment up where the wiper arm linkage is but I don't know how deep it goes into the area between the firewall and cab.

    Firewall insulation

That wasn't @SnowDrift was it? I do recall the truck being red in the photos posted. if not, me tagging him here, he might know who it was.

    Firewall insulation

you can always use the spray on lizard skin insulation or some dyna-mat sound deadning. I personally would go with something spray on even a smooth textured bed liner just to coat things.
