    6l90 behind a 6.5

The Borg Warner cases were limited. Not sure if they were ever used by Ford or not as they also used a 29 spline. And I had read when the 2650 1st came out it was capable of manipulating the outputs that it switched to outputs from a posting by somebody at PCS.

    Allison 2000 (July '01 Build) 4x4 conversion

That is a 6 speed valve body. They could have put a 6 speed conversion in it which is really hard on a stock 5 speed. I would be interested in that valve body.

    Savana school bus file

.bin files if not corrupted open just fine in efilive. I've been doing several reads with a different cable that saves in .bin and opening them just fine with efilive.

Runaway shut off valve (positive air flow valve)

A cheap way is to start with a throttle body from a gas engine. Remove the return spring, modify the hookup side with a spring loaded solenoid, and you now have a cheap inline cutoff.

    6l90 behind a 6.5

You can swap the input shaft from a 261 into a 241 case to bolt it up behind a 29 spline output. Or buy an input from Dodge as they used a 29 spline output when it was behind the Cummins.

    I've decided to do a Cummin's conversion

The electric TV started in 04 for diesels.

    Allison 2000 (July '01 Build) 4x4 conversion

I haven't verified it, but Fleece said years back that he used EFILIVE to modify all the 5 speed TCM's.

    99 TAHOE 2X4 gasser

Took alot longer than expected(the list of problems outgrew what I could get done for quite some time), but he was ecstatically happy when I was done. Now I'm working on radiator #4 trying to find one that the trans cooler lines won't leak on. They now want you to put a thick spongy oring in to...

    6l90 behind a 6.5

Thats the pcs 2650. With that he shouldn't need HPTuners as it will take whatever signals you give it and modify them via graphs to whatever you want them to be. You could set it so the TPS is outputting 50%, but make it tell the trans it's 30 or 70%. You can do the same thing with all the...

    2005 4l80e in my 1990 K2500

I was just thinking about this post as I was doing my radiator and had to put adapters in to hook the lines up. Your 90 uses 5/16" lines which were standard up to 96, starting in 97 they went to 3/8" because the center lube 4l80e needs alot more cooler flow. Your 05 trans uses 1/2" iirc as GM...

    6l90 behind a 6.5

It takes alot more than just hptuners to make a t43 work. The 6l80/6l90 uses a T43 TCM that is mounted to the valve body. It uses all high speed GMLAN for data coms. There's only a few wires that even run to it. The only way I know to make one work is to either use a compatible GM ECM from a gen...

    99 TAHOE 2X4 gasser

Do not ASSume new parts = good parts. Brand new AC Delco 15psi cap, doesn't begin to open until 18 psi, and mostly open at 19-20 psi. My Tahoe had just had a radiator put in it before I bought it, it now has another new one courtesy of an AC Delco cap I didn't pressure test before installing...

    Allison 2000 (July '01 Build) 4x4 conversion

I believe the 4x4 Kodiak's used a divorce mount as well(they an all Allison trans, no proprietary C5 piston).

    Allison 2000 (July '01 Build) 4x4 conversion

I'm not sure what all you would need. I know the GM extension housing uses GM's proprietary C5 piston and output shaft. I just don't know if you can interchange them or not.

    Too fast of an idle.

The pins on the coolant temp sensor are not very good quality. They're not coated like the ECM pins are. I've had to replace several before because of corrosion.

    2005 4l80e in my 1990 K2500

The th-400 switched to a 32 spline output with a standard round 6 bolt GM pattern in the mid 80's. The problem has to deal with the 4x4 switch with 3 wires not working until you got to a 93 model.

    Too fast of an idle.

I would definitely look at either a bad coolant temp sensor, bad connection at the CTS, or a bad/broken ECM ground. If you have a scanner it would narrow down where to look alot quicker.

    Lb7 smokes at idle

I've seen 45 overs haze at idle. My 45 over SAC's hazed until I redid my tuning. The big problem with nozzle swaps is most of the time it's a complete waste of money since the ball seat is normally worn in the body. Swapping new nozzles onto worn bodies gives you more expensive junk.
  19. THEFERMANATOR

    2005 4l80e in my 1990 K2500

I'm not certain. I know you could add in the output reluctor and wire everything up as a 2 wheel drive, then leave the speed sensor in your transfer case to your current speedo. I believe you have to change the shift rail inside your transfer case if you wanted to run the 3 wire transfer case...

    Lb7 smokes at idle

If it has stock tuning with bigger injectors, that could be your problem. Or it could be they slapped bigger nozzles on worn out stock injector bodies making more expensive bad parts. You need to find out about the tuning, is it using coolant, and some basic history on the truck.
