    On engines with glow plugs; you use the glow plug hole. On engines without glow plugs; you remove the injectors and use the injector bores.

    X2 what Jeff said. Also make sure that your battery cables are good and tight. Loose connections can cause some strange problems.

    I'd say the biggest difference might be the harness connections and maybe a few other minor things like that, but essentially I'd say that they are probably the same.
