Usually with the passlock system, the fuel injection system is locked out and the engine is prevented from starting if the vehicle is hot wired or if the wrong key is used in the ignition.....try this; whenever it won't start, wait ten minutes with the ign. key on in the run position, then...
Well, that same 'math' was what damned the ATT in the first place, these numbers said the turbo would never work on a 6.5........yet for all those who own one...I'll not go there. I have a headache, and you know why....well, I don't either. Just another point on how what's deemed to 'not' be...
Thats right, you said that earlier.....sorry bout that. Well, no fret, we all have nothing but time on our hands. Well, at least I do cause now I can go down the road with a load and get back sooooooooooo much faster now :D :grouphug: The 6.5 Family!
Kenny,
Try to do a snap shot while its bogging down, as this might shed some light on the actual fuel rate requested @ throttle, plus IP timing, etc. Can't quite put a finger on it yet. I was hoping Buddy would chime in on this one....try to get a snap shot of running conditions using his PMD...
:hmmm::yesnod:
Revs with original PMD and not with a known working PMD......Kenny, check wiring harness loom, @ IP, rear of engine for loose connections, broken wires, etc. I would swap your 94 eprom with his...just to see what happens.
:smile5: I think if they knew then what we know now, well, they wouldn't have payments for a better performing truck! :eek:):h I can attest, I wouldn't dare think about 'PAYMENTS' in these troubled times, even tough there was a time when I didn't think my 6.5 would live long doing what I do...
Now there's an idea....wonder if the battery could be placed where the coolant tank is now? I'm just worried about turbo heat radiation. Even if it were shielded would it.....maybe add a insulated battery cover for added protection...:scratchchin: Flow air in through the front bumper/light area...
Dan,
I'd race you but, well...my 6.5 is bigger. :rolleyes5: Besides, you'd never know exactly how fast you would be going.:D It sounds like you're having VSS problem, thus no cruise, speedo, etc. But I'm glad you took my advice on the loose hose issue....more than most over look this. As for...
