    Building a headache rack

I've got considerable experience in dealing with headache racks. When I was working for Fish and Game we built them for every patrol truck and mounted winches on them to pull in elk and moose into the back of the truck. Also to protect the back like you want and provide good tie down points...

    Tundra Timing Belt Change

basically was my problem too, although with the topper on I don't think it would have cleared on height. Fitting a crew cab long bed takes a looooong garage :D

    Tundra Timing Belt Change

I feel his pain. Our place in N. Idaho had a 1950's-ish era built single car pole built style "garage". If I tore it down to build a new bigger garage I wouldn't have been allowed because of planning/zoning requirements. The original "garage" was built right on the property line. However, I...

engine miss has me puzzled. Thoughts?

replaced the pressure sensor, it smoothed it out a little, but not much. I pulled a plug awhile back and it didn't look all that bad. Of course there's 5 others that could tell a different story. The car is doing what she needs it to do, so for now I just poke around under the hood whenever...

engine miss has me puzzled. Thoughts?

Poking around under the hood this afternoon I discovered the exhaust gas manifold pressure sensor's hose that connects to the EGR tube was broken right at the base of the sensor. She couldn't stay long, but I grabbed a "new" one at the junkyard and will put it in her car tomorrow. Crossing my...
