I bought my Hummer because it was less than a used Jeep Wrangler back in 2015…. And my day job would suggest I’m definitely not part of the ultra rich ha ha
Based on this post it should be a GEP block made June 25th, 2001. Still unclear as to the significance of the other markings on the block.
Also believe I narrowed the turbo for the BAE conversion down to a Garrett T3/T4 divided housing. Can’t seem to find the exact model since it’s a 3 hole on...
Well then a hummer would fit very nicely into that crowd. Hummer people are weirdos don’t let the ones with money fool you. We’re all a little off ha ha
I’m almost out of space for more parts and I’ve got at least 2 more trailer loads to grab. Hopefully I can help some of you into these parts to clear room for the rest. Otherwise the scrapper is gonna be cutting me a check.
Alright now we have the block. This is one of 4 total blocks but the only one I’ve grabbed so far. I took lots of photos in the hopes the experts can help sort out what’s what.
There were a few things I noted but I’m not sure if they’re normal. There is some engraving on the top of the block...
Alright today I got into the large parts. First up are the heads. I took lots of photos of these in the hopes y’all can ID them.
First head is labeled N/A
Thanks for the welcome.
Driving a Hummer is a bit more like driving a tractor than a modern vehicle. The HMMWV even more so. With that being said I wouldn’t trade my Hummer for the world. Such a fun and quirky truck
