Does it do it while accelerating to those speeds?
Thats odd it does it while slowing down with hard brake pressure. Does light pressure on the pedal cause it?
You may be on to something.
It does happen before i hit the higher boost numbers so maybe the boost is lower than what the computer wants at certain throttle positions.
I will have to do some more research.
The scanner reads super-boost but i forgot the code number. This happens when I nail it on the highway.
I never hit more than 14lbs of boost. I run Heaths tune and the ATT.
How about vibration at speed, 30mph, 60 mph 70 mph?
When you say the driveshaft had play was it at the tail housing?
Check the t case mount? Check the adapter between the t case and the trans mission just to be sure.
While i know the diesel trucks can run good, I am betting the guy in the vette was not racing.
0-60 in 3.6 seconds and the 1/4 in high 11's at 125 is what a C6 Z06 will do.
You will need to cut the spring perches off and weld on new ones. Then it will bolt right in. The brake lines on the 01 and up axle will bolt to your existing rear brake line that runs down to the axle. The parking brake cables will work as well with a little effort.

I have no issue's with them. They flex well and have not sagged at all. I was going with them or deaver and used them based off ORU's owner who recommended them.
I was talked into the softer valving and while the rear is fine the front sucks, way to soft. At this point i don't care as I am working on a 3 link with track bar set up and some coil overs.
