I couldn't remark any diff in fuel economy with th 180°F thermostat and also with the fan clutch mod. The only thing I saw, was that I know can pull loads/trailers, which I can't pull before, cauz before the engine would be overheating. And now, if pulling about 5 tons, okay, than the milage...
So there will be the problem. Now there could be an AIR bubble in the core after you flushed it or you loosend some crap while flushing which now this is blocking the line. First, I would check/try to get the air out. If there is no more air in and it still don't heats, you'll know, that (I...
Hi Dennis !
HOW does the intensity change while going from hot to cold ? From hot to cold it is normal, if the intensity raises a bit.
Sounds to me, that there is some air (bubble) in the system so the heat could not reach the rear core.
Only a shot from the hips, cauz I got no Sub, but...
If lights acts wacky or strange, it is a grounding problem.
If the don't work, equal what you do, it is a voltage problem (no voltage at the bulb, etc.)

Cleaned radiator, 180° F thermostat from Kennedy Diesel and the fan clutch mod ! No more probs. Pulling 5 tons and temp never exceed 185°F. Stays at 180°F if driving empty.

Ratio is 1:200 or about 1 quart into a 34 gal. tank or about 0.5 quarts into the 26 gal. tank. A bit more or less doesn't hurt. you also could mix 1 quart into the smaller 26 gal. tank, but there's not need for.

I have similar thoughts from time to time as you Matuva, but everytime, I think about selling, the end is, that I keep my truck. Why ? Beacuse I know what I have and I dont know what I get then. So until someone would pay me the money, that would be enough for a new D-Max, I'll never sell my...
There is only ONE switch, the others are connectors if I read it correct, cauz if I click on the link, the page shows up in german language.

It's easy to explain. Black smoke -> to much fuel, not enough air.
You said it's an "S" engine, so what's the diff between "S" and "F" engine ? Right the restricted intake of the "S" engine. So if you puch the pedal to the metal, ther isn't enough air to burn the fuel and you get black smoke...
I use it. About 3 bottles with every oil change (I also use Lucas 15W40 HD). Result is high oil pressure and in every situation, even after a long run on the german autobahn when you coasting down the exit lane.
