Ok so I came across a thread on another forum that mentioned a condition (mostly 1/2 ton drivers) that had an issue with the frame bouncing over the concrete sections of freeway. Some reported it was so bad they couldnt talk without it sounding like they were getting bounced up and down. Anyways. I was looking into it. GM has a Campaign #PIT3009J that was released regarding this. It only applies to Ext and Crew cabs, not Regular Cabs and its been called "Frame Beaming". Apparently they did some research on this and came up with a new ear body mount setup. Long Story short, I ordered them and installed them last night. Damn! it actually makes a difference. Below is the test pasted from the GM Campaign. i know this was a big complaint with the 1500 trucks, but I think us 2500/3500 guys just assume thats how these are supposed to ride? I dont know. but I am extremely happy now. I have the Bilstein's and Sulastics from Nor-Cal Truck, and now this. Still a truck, but smooth and controlled like it should be. I installed mine last night and I am very impressed. If you have any questions or info, post up.
