      Hello NVW,

I still never got my 2000 Chevy K3500 6.5 Diesel running. After we talked and I tried several things I gave up for a while. Then one day I charged-up the batteries overnight and put them in the next day. I hit the key and the darn thing sprang right-to-life. The next time I tried to start it no go.

It was the Passlock System all the time. I replaced the IGN SW, TURN SIG SW, key and tumbler. Sat looking at this truck for almost 3-years not knowing what to do. Folks here guided me.

Well, I received the turn signal sw and the ignition sw and the tumbler. I installed them. I checked out the signal sw to make sure I hooked everything up okay and thought, "Whatda heck! Let's see if it tries to start."

Now, this truck has been sitting in this spot for almost three years. I turn the key...engine cranks about 1 turn (no more than 2) and VAROOM! Unbelievable!

It looks as tho it was an electrical problem in the column all the time. The fuel was another failure and then the two together compounded the issue. I still have some things to fix but at least it is running!
